组织开展药品监督管理部门部署的药品质量监督抽检和评价抽检任务的抽样工作；负责口岸进口药品及中药材的抽样工作；承担生物制品批签发委托品种的抽样工作；组织实施化妆品监督管理部门的安全风险监测抽样计划；配合上级执法部门开展在药品生产、经营和使用等环节的技术监督工作，协助开展技术监督现场检查和生产工艺核查等工作。技术监督和行政执法有机结合，坚守保护和促进公众健康的初心与使命。

　　The Supervision and Sampling Department organizes the sampling for drug quality supervision and evaluation sampling tasks deployed by the drug regulatory authorities. It is responsible for sampling of imported drugs and TCM materials at the port, and sampling of the entrusted varieties subject to lot release of biological products. It arranges for the implementation of the safety risks monitoring and sampling plan issued by cosmetics regulatory authorities; cooperate with superior law-enforcing departments in the technical supervision of drug production, operation and use, and assists in on-site inspection and production process verification for technical supervision, thus staying true to the original intention and mission of protecting and promoting public health through organic combination of technical supervision and administrative enforcement.
